Aquafan
Built
in 1987 upon the hills of Riccione, Aquafan kept growing up and
refreshing ever since and, as a result, defining it nowadays as a
simple “aquatic park” is merely reductive: many new slides,
attractions, green areas and wide parking lots have been added up
throughout the years, as well as several events both for daytime and
nighttimes entertainment.
Within its 150000 sqm there’s room for the huge wavy swimming pool,
several others pools and slides as well as aquatic playgrounds for your
children, a lush relaxation area surrounded by waterfalls and water
massage pools and a number of aquatic slides of all shapes and speeds.
Among these you can find the Kamikaze, one of Aquafan’s
must-does, where you can be thrilled by skidding down at 70 km/h, the
Speedriul, a fast track in the shape of a funnel, and the brand new
StrizzaCool, an adrenalinic descend into the water to face up in pairs
or groups of 4.
Aquafan not only means lots of green, bars and restaurants, but also
music! In fact Radio DeeJay has made it its general headquarter for the
summer for many years yet, with lives directly from inside the park.
Also, after a few years’ break, Aquafan is finally back on as a Disco
Club: throughout the night the whole of the park turns into an open-air
Disco, with dance music on the air and funny foam-parties.
Opening: 1 June 2012
Entrance: € 26 (2011) - Discounted tickets available at the reception

Oltremare

Oltremare was built in 2004 next to its “sister” Aquafan.. It is

Its heart is the “Laguna dei Delfini”, a spectacular rocky lagoon where some dolphins live and exhibit.
Every attraction in Oltremare has the extraordinary power to teach entertaining… just to name a few: “Pianeta Terra”, that mimics the evolution of the Earth starting from the Big Bang, “Pianeta Mare” a close encounter with the creatures of the Adriatic Sea, “Darwin”,
a glass dome in which the Cretaceous Period is recreated, and Imax, a
3D cinema featuring spectacular footage on the Earth and its wonders.
